When I was young, I grew up around many stereotypical examples of masculinity; strong, invulnerable, and sadness masked in anger and harshness. I learned to be strong in life but uncomfortable with vulnerability. I chose the route of connection through empathy and often chose to be unseen for fear of rejection. I learned to be the leader, protector, and fierce in my convictions but gradually those harsh characteristics no longer served me. I needed to be more balanced to relate to friends, receive love, and accept generosity to have the deeper relationships that I craved. I was terrified of ending up alone and angry--(visions of It's a Wonderful Life if George didn't marry Mary played through my mind!) So, after finding my way to a career as a registered nurse and being shown the lessons of who I DIDN'T want to be, my ideal vision of myself, the life I desired to lead, I began to look at my life and think about where it was going.
I decide to put my 15+ years of mental health, R.N. background, nutrition training (OJT and certificate) and reiki background to work. I loved sitting with people 1:1 and helping them guide through the shifts within themselves and watching them see what could be possible and I knew that I had much more marketable skills then could be fertilized within a hospital. I dreamt of the freedom of working with amazing clients that really wanted to transform their life and not let anything hold them back! I truly believe women are the POWER SOURCE of humanity and while we need both the masculine (the yang to our yin) and men, a woman in her feminine power balances a man beautifully. It's also extremely attractive.
So, when I got on this fast train moving forward and creating this business, everything changed quickly. I also believe when it's the right steps for you, everything falls into place. I want you too to have the life where you feel empowered, grateful, and powerful everyday. Afterall, we ATTRACT what we ARE, right? This is possible while still taking care of the needs around you. I want to teach you take these action steps to move into your power and attract whatever you desire to you because you have learned HOW to. You will have learned how to say no when your body does not need it, learned how to embody self love every day and truly feel amazing! Our bodies are designed to move, feel good, sexy, and attractive. Yet, somehow, culture as a whole has allowed ourselves to become sedentary, settle for less and slowly squeeze out our passion for life. We have gotten to a place where relationships are stifled and we don't connect to each other anymore. Let's change this! Let's connect again to ourselves, our passions, our sexuality, and be feel fit, free and sexy in our own skin!
I know what is feels like to look around and wonder how you got where you are today and wonder how the heck you are gonna get out of it. To feel like you've done everything you can in your power and still don't feel like you have arrived where you want to be. I was there, I was desperate! I was so fearful of ending up feeling alone, invisible, and worst of all, angry about not leading the life that I knew I could have! Living a life that doesn't feel authentic starts to wear on your soul and erode your own sense of self and again, as a woman, we still need to show up for other people. I'm a huge advocate of looking inside yourself because truly, if our energy well is depleted, where will you find the energy to look out for yourself, never mind the others in your life that are needing your attention?
I have found ways to carve self care into my life using fifteen minute time blocks to relax and energize yourself. Would you feel better about yourself and in your body if you made better food choices? Food planning, supplements, and recipes are my bag, baby! There's also small shifts to implement exercise in your life. Emotion is energy that is moving through our body and when we move, we release emotion, we FEEL better, more centered and our able to be present for others. We feel more empowered because we did something for ourselves. I think people get in a rut when we move and exercise in a mundane and unenthused way. I want to show you how to tap into movement that makes you feel AMAZING about yourself. Humans are made to move and feel alive so I don't believe that it's not for everyone, it just needs to be specialized for you. Are you feeling more free already? I have figured these strategies out and I want to share them with you! Yes, we all have to show up for parts of our life that don't ring your bell loudly, but there's way to make people ask you, how are you the women that is always so calm and organized? Wouldn't that feel sexy?
